| The Plains Apartment Association For many years, people have often questioned why with all of the apartment complexes in Auburn, Alabama there is no apartment association. Well, this is about to change! The Plains Apartment Association is causing quite a stir in Auburn. They are working each day to form a thriving association in Auburn, as well as the surrounding counties. With the support the national and state associations have provided, the PAA will surely be a success. Officers have been elected, bylaws have been voted upon, and meetings are even being held every three weeks until the national charter is approved. The Articles of Incorporation, bank account establishment, and membership drive are items still in the works by the association. The main focus of the PAA at the moment is definitely creating a successful membership drive. The PAA hopes to bring vendors, apartment complexes, realty companies, and even the city government together for the success of each organization. Interest has already been shown by many industries as well as apartment communities, and attendance seems to improve with every meeting. In the near future, the PAA hopes to host many educational programs, as well as motivational sessions for the benefit of those in the housing industry and its vendors.
